Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who we are
Kinetic POS is operated by Kinetic CNC Services (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", "the seller"). By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms and are contracting with Kinetic CNC Services (Pty) Ltd.
2. The service
Kinetic POS is a point of sale application for small shops: product and stock management, barcode and QR scanning, sales recording, receipts, and staff accounts. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your business.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. Shop administrators are responsible for the staff members they add.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including:
- Using it for unlawful purposes, fraud, or spam;
- Infringing intellectual property rights;
- Introducing malware, probing or scanning our systems, or scraping the service;
- Reverse engineering, reselling, or circumventing technical limits.
5. Intellectual property
We retain all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation, and branding. Your shop data remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service.
6. Payments and subscriptions
New shops receive a 30-day free trial. After the trial, a monthly subscription of R150 per shop is required to continue using the service.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
7. Service level
We work hard to keep Kinetic POS available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The service is provided "as is" and we disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When a subscription lapses, the shop's data is retained and access is restored once payment resumes.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill), and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the prior 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to Kinetic CNC Services (Pty) Ltd via the contact details shown in the app.
